Deadlines for sending parcels
To ensure that undelivered gifts won’t ruin your customers’ holidays, you need to clearly understand which of your parcels have a chance of being delivered on time and which are likely to arrive after Christmas.
Please note: the timeframes are approximate and not guaranteed. Delays at customs, a broken down airplane, or a sick postman can still delay the delivery of your products!
The dates are indicated for shipment from Kyiv, so please consider the additional delivery time from your city.
Express services:
- DHL Express: December 16 for the US and Europe, December 13 for the rest of the world
- Nova Poshta: December 16 for North America, December 13 for countries of presence
- FedEx: December 13
Shipments from the warehouse:
- Standard shipments, USA: December 17
- Expedited shipments, USA: December 19
- Expedited shipments, Europe: December 16
Consolidations:
- December 10
We expect that in reality you will have 1-2 additional days for shipping, these dates are given for a 90% guarantee of delivery of products before the holidays.
Here are a few tips if your shipment is delayed in transit:
- Be sure to keep the customer informed! Let them know about the parcel’s location, send updates, and find the number of their local post office if necessary. The customer will be sure that you care about their order.
- Offer the customer to print out a photo of the product and give it as a Christmas gift before the product arrives.
- The most important thing ㅡ when placing an order, don’t forget to offer the customer to pay extra for express delivery. Many buyers are willing to pay significant amounts to make sure that the package really arrives on time!
