Information from DHL Ukraine

Archived post from 2025-04-18. Terms and prices may have changed.

Dear colleagues,
We would like to share with you the current shipping regulations to the USA, as currently applied by DHL Ukraine.

Starting Monday, April 21, shipments to private individuals with a declared value over $800 will no longer be accepted.
Shipments to legal entities exceeding this value are still possible, but processing will take longer.
In such cases, it is mandatory to clearly specify the legal status of the recipient (e.g., LLC, Company, etc.).

Declaring the country of origin of the goods is now required.
Items from China, Hong Kong, or Macau are subject to customs duties regardless of the country of import. The presence of even a single product from these regions may trigger a customs hold and formal clearance procedures.

Therefore, we strongly recommend removing all barcodes, labels, identifying marks, or boxes indicating the origin of goods if this information does not match your shipment description.
Any discrepancy between the documentation and stickers/labels may lead to the inspection or delay of your shipment — or even the entire batch.

For consolidated shipments (to clients or to the warehouse), nothing changes for our customers.

Please note: these rules are currently in effect but may change at any time.
We recommend sending your goods to the warehouse as soon as possible while the duty-free threshold of $800 is still valid.
